Kathryn Bargis is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She earned her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Counselling/Therapy coupled with an honours Bachelor of Science specializing in Mental Health Studies from the University of Toronto.  

Kathryn is a queer, trans and sex positive individual and couples’ therapist. Her therapeutic approach is founded in anti-oppressive and trauma-informed practices. Her practice acknowledges intersectionality, and aims to create a safe, welcoming and empowering healing space to experience and understand emotions. She is trained in several evidence-based modalities of therapy and draws techniques from diverse approaches, dependant on best suiting her clients’ needs.

She is skilled in working with couples and is passionate about providing a safe and sex positive space for LGBT2SQQIA+ couples, including poly, non-monogamous, and open relationships. She is fetish, BDSM and kink informed. She is also experienced in supporting individuals through navigating various challenges, including but not limited to trauma, gender and sexual identity, personal relationships, body image, self-esteem, stress, anxiety, and depression and mood disorders.
