Tarik Kadri, MSW, RSW

Tarik has extensive knowledge and experience in treating clients who have experienced trauma or are experiencing symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). In addition to this specialization, he is trained in cognitive behavioural therapy for treatment of anxiety, depression, struggling with shame, decreased self-esteem/confidence, trauma, couples conflict, LGBTQ+, family issues and substance use concerns.
Tarik has been instrumental in advocating for LGBTQ+ rights in the military and in implementing policies supporting LGBTQ+ individuals. He marched with the military for their first induction into the Toronto Pride Parade in 2008, and has mentored other LGBTQ+ members in uniform. Tarik has worked locally with the LGBTQ+ community providing mental health support.
