Dr. Greg Mendelson, Psy.D., C.Psych.
Registered Psychologist (Supervised Practice)
Dr. Greg Mendelson is registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario as a Supervised Practice Psychologist. He completed a Masters in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University in 2011, and another Masters in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2013. In 2016, he received his Doctorate in Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
Dr. Greg’s research focuses on the lived experiences of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender individuals. He offers individual therapy to adolescents and adults with presenting concerns such as, but not limited to: anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, life transitions, LGBTQ+ concerns, self-esteem and coming out.
While completing his doctorate, Dr. Greg trained in community mental health settings, college counselling centres, as well as private therapy clinics providing individual, couples, and group therapy. He has a passion for working with adolescents and adults in the LGBTQ+ community, with a particular interest in the intersection between gender and sexual identity.
