Christopher Shillington, MA, RP

Christopher Shillington is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a Canadian Certified Counsellor. He earned his Master’s degree in clinical and counselling psychology as well as sexual diversity studies from the University of Toronto.
Christopher is a sex, queer and trans/ non-binary positive individual and couples’ therapist, and approaches psychotherapy from a place of celebrating diversity. With over 10 years of experience in the field of sexual and mental health, Christopher offers an expertise and passion in his therapeutic and educational work related to sex, gender, sexuality and relationships including poly or non-monogamous relationships.
Christopher has been working with youth in an educational capacity for most of his career and loves working with young people who are exploring the various aspects of their identity.
Christopher’s research examines social determinants of health for LGBTQ+ individuals as well as the function of monogamy and its role in modern day relationships.
