Carly is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). They completed their MSW at the University of Toronto, and have a BSW and BA (in Humanistic Studies and Sexual Diversity Studies) from McGill University.
Carly is a queer and genderqueer person, with 15 years of experience working in queer and trans communities as an organizer, educator, facilitator, and peer support worker. She welcomes clients with non-normative family structures, relationship structures, and sexual practices.
Carly’s approach to therapy is informed by their social work studies, community organizing, and training in narrative approaches. They are oriented towards ever-deepening understandings of intersectional feminism, anti-racist praxis, and healing justice. She is drawn towards work with clients that relates to trauma, relationships, grief/loss, and identity.
